I will never forget the opening of this concert... the band appearing out of dense fog, Hell's bell being hammered and the sound rolling over the crowd! Truly awesome!
London Gardens is basically a hockey barn, and didn't have the greatest acoustics, but it didn't matter to a 17 year old me, they were LOUD and live! That was Angus and Malcolm for gawds sake! My rock and roll heroes.
We were right on the wall, just slightly left of center, and when Angus shook his head, his sweat showered us! Don't think my hearing returned to normal for about 2 days!
Would LOVE to do it again!
